Together We Are Strengthening Southern New Mexico!

Southern New Mexico Giving Day 2026 was a tremendous success, bringing together communities across 12 counties to uplift local nonprofits and celebrate the power of generosity. Hosted by the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico (CFSNM) in partnership with the Gila Community Foundation (GCF), this year marked the first time the two foundations collaborated, an exciting milestone that expanded the event’s reach and impact.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors and the dedication of our nonprofit partners, this year’s Giving Day made a meaningful difference across the region. With your support, we are able to continue advancing the vital work and missions of nonprofits throughout Southern New Mexico.

An additional highlight of this year’s event was the matching opportunity, where 115 nonprofits received dollar-for-dollar matches of up to $500, made possible through the support of the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, United Way of Southwest New Mexico, and the Gila Community Foundation, helping to maximize the impact of each donation.

This event was made possible by a committed committee of local nonprofit leaders, including GCF, CFSNM, UWSWNM, Casa de Peregrinos, Singing Out Las Cruces, and the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce. We extend our sincere thanks to all committee members for their leadership, collaboration, and continued support in making this event a success.
